Disappointing news…my entry for the CQA National Juried Show was not accepted, but at least I now get to finally share it with all of you! I had so much fun making this colourful quilt…I hope you like it.

Two of the three gifts I made for Christmas last year were for Rory, a Dungeons & Dragons fan, made with a special D&D fabric.
Last week was very productive for me…finishing the fabric organization, longarming 2 quilts and purging some household stuff. Why can’t I always be like that?!
I’ve been tossing my fabrics into 2 boxes because I’ve been lazy…now it’s time to reorganize and make things look pretty again!
Now that the hexie quilt top is complete and ready for quilting, I was again bitten by the English paper piecing bug and started a new project using the jewel shape.
Becky’s moving in December and this is our last retreat with her before that happens. We made the most of it with our usual back and forth banter, great food, and wonderful projects…check them out here.
