Hello everyone! Thanks for all the wonderful comments and compliments about the Quiltish Corner blog. When my daughter encouraged me to start this journey at the height of Covid, it was definitely like “teaching an old dog new tricks”. As a matter of fact, I was ready to throw my computer across the room a few times until Kate calmed me down, went over the process with me (again!), and well, here we are.
So many of the wonderful comments are about how you really enjoy seeing what everyone works on at our retreats. I guess it’s the same thing at our guild meetings…everyone loves to see what everyone is sharing during Show & Tell time. We are always inspired by our fellow quilters.

Your blog post on fussy cutting was very helpful to me. I appreciated that while you find the specialty ruler especially helpful, you didn’t stop there and you went on to show how to effectively fussy cut utilizing the rulers most of us have at home, which is what I was able to do. The one post I can't do without is the "Best Ever Binding". I go in for a refresher every single time I am binding a quilt - especially the part about attaching the ends.
