Seasonal Blocks Revealed!

Thanks so much to everyone who took part in 2021’s Seasonal Blocks. I received so many wonderful emails from people who were thankful for a specific project to work on through Covid. Unfortunately, not everyone who contacted me felt comfortable enough to share their blocks, but I’m so happy that they took part in it just the same.

Barb M. from Oshawa, Ontario sent photos of her January Snowman and February Valentine Heart. Don’t you love the jaunty little top hat on the snowman? I also love that she made a table runner from 2 mirror image hearts.

Sandy P. from North Bay, Ontario sent her beautifully done Canadian Maple Leaf to hang on her front door. She did a great job with her free-motion quilting and I love the border fabric.

Nancy W. from Napanee, Ontario has an incredible green front door on her home and has been busily making a wallhanging for every season to welcome her guests. I particularly love her Falling Leaves block with the awesome border fabric. Well done, Nancy!

Last, but definitely not least, is the amazing quilt that Linda K. from Ajax, Ontario made. She decided to include all 12 blocks in this wonderful calendar quilt. I love how the polka dot sashing not only incorporates all the colours of the blocks, but highlights them as well. Beautifully done, Linda.
